Emirates has scheduled an Airbus A350 for one of its daily Dubai–Mauritius services from 1 November 2026. In an announcement dated 22 October, the airline said the aircraft would replace the Boeing 777 on EK709 and EK710. As of 30 October, the change remains scheduled rather than completed.

The announced aircraft has 298 seats across three cabins: 32 in Business, 28 in Premium Economy and 238 in Economy. The carrier also says it operates two other daily Mauritius services using A380 aircraft. The A350 announcement therefore concerns one rotation within a wider existing service pattern.

Under the published timetable, EK709 leaves Dubai at 07:55 and reaches Mauritius at 14:40. The return EK710 leaves Mauritius at 18:30 and arrives in Dubai at 01:10 the following day. All those times are local, and the overnight date change matters when planning onward travel or an airport meeting.

The airline describes the deployment as an investment in its Mauritius offering, with an updated Business Class product and Premium Economy. Those descriptions explain the commercial purpose of the switch. They do not establish how many additional visitors the island will receive or what fares passengers will pay on a particular date.

For travellers, the practical comparison is between the actual flights and fares available for their journey. Three daily services need not provide identical aircraft, seating or departure times. Someone choosing mainly for a cabin feature should look at the operating aircraft shown for the selected flight and any connecting sector.

The November start is close enough to be useful for immediate planning, but the announced schedule is still distinct from confirmed operation. Passengers can check their reservation for current timings and cabin details. The key news is a specified aircraft replacement on EK709/710, rather than the launch of an entirely new Mauritius route.
